A 1962 Chevrolet Impala that had been hiding under a tarp for years is now showing off its original 327

This is a very powerful car: the 1962 Chevrolet Impala was one of the first to come with a 327-cubic-inch V8 engine that made 250 horsepower.

Not all Impalas are driven and enjoyed, though.

Some end up hiding under a tarp for years while they wait for a second chance.

This Impala was found in a barn, covered in dust and dirt. The owner, Bob Smith, decided to fix up the car.

He was shocked to find that the engine was still the same as the original and in good shape.

The original 327 engine in Bob's Impala is back in good shape and ready to go.
